Reminder to “Check-In”

It has been a few weeks since our children returned to instruction, and now is a great time to do a mental health "check-in."

How to Check In with Your Child: 1. Ask open-ended questions ("What was the best part of your day? What was the hardest?"). 2. Watch for changes in sleep habits, appetite, or mood. 3. Validate their feelings without immediately offering solutions — sometimes they just need to feel heard. 4. Schedule quiet one-on-one time together without screens.
