Concierge/Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a healthcare model that gives patients increased access to their physician for closer, individualized care. In exchange for an affordable monthly fee, patients have access to Dr. Works and her staff through inperson office visits, newborn home visits, phone calls, texts, email and tele communications. You can expect less time waiting time for your next scheduled appointment, and same day appointments are available.
DPC reduces the red tape and multiple-patient quota as an alternative to the traditional healthcare physician model, where patients can experience long wait times, shorter visits with their doctor, more specialist referrals, and higher monthly premiums. This allows doctors to be less rushed and more in tune with their patients. Pediatric Works does not accept insurance, which makes the above possible.
